Ashley is a beautiful woman, and in my opinion, pregnancy and “the belly” is the height of beauty, so I was thrilled to photograph her during this special time. Some maternity sessions incorporate dad and focus on both parents and their excitement, but the approach of this session was a celebration of the power and vulnerability and of course the love a woman feels as life grows inside her.
Ashley is a pro in front of the camera, and was so brave and bold to stand in the pond and work with the fabrics and I was thankful for our private setting and her awesome sense of humor! She is literally due in a few weeks and I’m so excited to meet her sweet baby girl and photograph her from the outside as well :).
