We love all the visitors we get here. Some expected — some unexpected (such as a hot air balloon that almost landed in the backyard one day!). This beautiful crane is one of our most regular visitors. I’d never seen him chill on the dock and had to grab my camera (I’m definitely no wildlife photographer 🙂

These big-daddy fish are Carp — they make a much bigger splash than the bass.
I’m sure I’ll get to keep adding to this post as creatures come out for the Spring. Things are definitely alive here right now — as long as they don’t slither or sting, we’re thrilled to have them!
