This little girl is so dear to me and one of my favorite people to photograph. Sweet, sassy, future rock star and heartbreaker, she’s hilarious and spirited and kind, like her mom, my dear friend, Crissy. I loved that we had some wind for this quick session — it’s super fun for playing around and that’s just what we did.
**I like this photo below particularly because it reminds me of something Keeley’s mom and I always did when we arrived at the beach. We’d run up to the shore and shout with arms wide open, “It’s great to be alive — and young!” This came from a movie and we felt a little cheesy but it made us laugh and was the way we celebrated getting to the beach. We did this from the early years in our teens until well, I’m not sure when we stopped but probably when the “young” part quit being true – ha. We need to start saying it again, I think.
